clrefThe Safariland 070 SSIII is one of several models classified as a Level III Retention. When the gun is drawn properly, all three retention features work together to achieve a smooth release of the weapon from the holster. The mid-ride belt postion and slightly-forward grip cant allow for a comfortable carry and a quick, easy draw. Featuring a top thumb break and middle finger release tab. The patented molded ejection port detent only allows for rearward weapon release. The side strap and snap are designed as decoys and do not operate. Safariland's rigid Posi-Lock Belt Loop anchors the holster and stabilizes it on the duty belt with hardened aerospace fasteners. The holster and belt become one unit, keeping the 070 firmly in place as the weapon draws.
